The AS 1851.2 2005 requirements are an essential part of maintaining your building.
Sections 17 and 18 of this standard relate to the maintenance regime of mechanical components of a multi compartment building. Under the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 it is a legal requirement to maintain records of testing for all life safety systems. Both companies and individuals can be fined for non-conformance under the regulation.
