NEBB Certification

Flowtech Air Conditioning achieved National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) certification in 2005 and currently employs a full time NEBB supervisor. NEBB certification is difficult to achieve. It is a guarantee of a company’s abilities and results and through the use of test sheets, ensures we are working to standards that are nationally and internationally accepted.

Many Australian mechanical specifications require commissioning to be carried out by NEBB certified companies. Flowtech Air Conditioning has met all requirements for NEBB certification in air systems and hydronic systems, which covers all aspects of air and water balancing.

National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) Australia, working under license from NEBB USA, as the 1st International Consolidated Chapter, is an organization dedicated to the implementation and promotion of established industry standards, procedures and specifications for work in the various disciplines related to environmental systems which include:

• Testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB) of air and Hydronic systems
• Sound and vibration measurement
• Cleanroom performance testing
• Building systems commissioning

NEBB Australia offers an educational program of instruction, to train supervisory and technical personnel in the proper methods and procedures to be used in performing services in the various disciplines.

NEBB Australia maintains a set of criteria for certification, and a system to thereby certify companies for their performance and supervision of the various services which are encompassed by the NEBB criteria.

NEBB Australia maintains minimum educational standards and experience requirements for the qualification of supervisors and technical personnel employed by companies which perform work in these disciplines.

NEBB Australia acts as a focal point for educational and technical manuals pertinent to performing services in the various disciplines involving environmental systems.
